Emulsifier for silicone oil SOP-104
1. Brief Product Introduction:
Oil emulsification requires precise HLB value. And generally speaking, it is hard for oil emulsification, harder for silicone oil emulsification. But the dedicated emulsifier produced by our co***ny (the adjusted HLB value is suitable for silicone oil emulsification) can be used for the production of methyl silicone oil emulsion, amino silicone oil emulsion, hydrogen silicone oil emulsion, etc. The product is a kind of nonionic surfactant. So it is co***tible with a variety of ions, which makes a wider range of application. And it also resolves the problem of big error between batches by using many materials for emulsion before.

3. Using method recommended:
1. Use the homogenizer and operate it according to the general requirement.
2. Use common stirred tank reactor, and you can adjust the temperature between 40-60℃, stirring speed should not be too fast.
3. Use the colloid mill for production, and appropriately adjust the number of water down and amount of adding water.
4. Generally recommended ratio of oil and emulsifier as: 2:1. And from the results of experiment, the ration of oil and emulsifier can reach to 10:1.
5. We recommend that you should mix silicone oil and emulsifier evenly ahead of time, and then adding water slowly, the best way is dropping for ***ermine the time of phase conversion. Otherwise, it would make the emulsion stratification.
6. When using the product, we advise you should not add other surfactant, so as not to change the HLB value and destroy the stability of emulsion.
7. When using the product, you can use acetic acid for adjusting the PH value. But please note in moderation. And we advise the PH value should not less than 6.2 or higher than 7.8 when storing. If you need to adjust the PH, please adjust it before using for preventing from affecting the stability.
